Where does the seafood you eat come from? Did you know kelp is farmed right here in Stonington? How do marine ecosystems thrive? Join Mystic Seaport Museum on February 1 at 11:00 a.m. and hear from industry experts on the significance of aquaculture and blue economy, and learn about innovations in the field. This conversation will expand on the blue technology themes apparent throughout the exhibition Alexis Rockman: Oceanus. Panelists include Suzie Flores from Stonington Kelp Co., Kate Masury from Eating with the Ecosystem, Zachary Gordon from UConn CT Sea Grant, and Syma Ebbin, also from UConn CT Sea Grant, as moderator.
